Tuesday 2.30-3.30 until 16th October

The Community Development Association has a balance of funding on a lottery grant allocated to us to support Covid interventions.  The need for support has reduced somewhat and the Lottery has agreed that we can use the balance to fund a Covid Mosaic to be incorporated into a structure the Council is producing at Lemon’s Wharf and which will house some of the Covid Stones left at the harbour.  An artists impression is attached.

Martin McClure, who produced the RNLI mosaic at the Community Centre has agreed to run a series of workshops where participants will paint a tile which will be placed on the backrest of the structure.

The workshops will be held on Tuesday afternoons in the Community Centre, commencing 21st September, and will last around an hour.

We are very keen to involve as many of the community as possible in the project and have invited schools and other community based organisations in the town to become involved.  Alongside these groups, we expect that there will be individuals in the community who would want to be involved.

If you are interested in taking part please contact DCDA using the form below providing contact information and any preference regarding dates.
