A talk by Dr Frank Ferguson, Ulster University (Organised by Donaghadee Creative Hub) Dr Ferguson is the Director of the Centre for Irish and Scottish Studies at Ulster University. He is also Chair of the John Hewitt Society, which holds literary festivals in Belfast and Armagh.

A competition to decide who makes the best Ulster Fry. Competitors from across Ulster will compete for the title. Last year’s competition certainly captured the public im-agination and this year’s event will surely be popular. The Ladies of Donaghadee Community choir will transport you from The Mountains of Mourne to the Shores of Donaghadee, stopping off for some sweets from Aunt Jane's Tea! Lead by Judith Hall and accompanied by Norma Patterson.
Established in 2013 to promote interest in fife and drum musical traditions, the club play traditional locally handmade (in Donaghadee) fifes together with the lambeg and traditional rope tension side drums. They play traditional tunes from both sides of the Atlantic together with some more contemporary tunes.

The band was first formed in 1946 and ran successfully until 1983. It reformed in 1999 and now competes regularly in competitions wearing the Davidson tartan.
- Mike Donaghy has performed across Europe, America and Canada with artists such as Brian Kennedy, Bonnie Rait, Alabama 3, Paul Brady and Finbar Furey amongst others. His songs take inspiration from his Irish roots, along with echoes of Scottish folk music and the sounds of the transatlantic connection.
