Outdoor lawn green bowling is a great game for players of all ages. The green is available April to September each year. As a member you can play for fun or be part of a team. You can also participate in club competitions, association championships and regular organised practice and training sessions.
The club, which was formed in 1939 has two teams which play in Divisions 1 and 4 of the Northern Ireland Bowling Association leagues. We also have a Veteran’s Section with two teams competing in Veteran’s Leagues and Cups.
Our club has a very active Management Committee who put together an attractive calendar of club events each year (see Facebook page for full details.)
Donaghadee Bowling club currently has members representing our association (Northern Ireland Bowling Association) and Ireland, at Junior and Senior level.
We are also very proud of the fact that club member, Cameron Gaw is the current holder of the British Isles under 25 Singles title.
