DCRC is a community orientated club open to people across Ards and North Down. It is part of a project aiming to revive traditional boatbuilding skills and promote coastal rowing while also helping to regenerate communities through their maritime heritage. The club has built and maintains two skiffs – “Ramharry” and “The Governor”. Each skiff has four fixed seat rowers and a cox. As well as weekly club rowing (weather and tide dependant) there are opportunities to participate in regattas with the other clubs in Down Coastal Rowing Association. They include Portavogie, Portaferry, Strangford, Killyleagh, Dundrum, Sketrick, Ardglass and Kircubbin. All training and safety equipment is provided.

Open to everyone over 11

Meets at the Public Slipway Shore Street Donaghadee.  Tide and weather dependant (see Facebook)
