All the tickets have gone folks. Congratulations to those who were quick enough to get some and hard luck to those who didn’t. There’s still the Fireworks and a special guest to meet so don’t be shy and come on down.

The Town Hall and Murder Lane Halloween Tour. Tuesday 31st October, 6.30PM To 9.30PM followed by Fireworks @ Lemons Wharf.

This Halloween Donaghadee will be in full Trick or Treat mode with a scary but fun-filled walk through the Old Town Hall, recently described as one of the most haunted buildings in Ireland.

Entertaining the children, and adding to the Town Hall’s ambience, there will be a short story describing how Murder Lane got it’s name, followed by an opportunity to walk the very same path.

Entering by the front door of the Town Hall victims, sorry visitors, will assemble in the reception room before being escorted to the basement to hear the tale of The Sailor’s Plight narrated by the gruesome Granny Nightmare.  Being Halloween the Town Hall will of course be suitably decorated to reflect the spooky occasion.

If you’re lucky enough to survive granny’s tormented tale the victims, sorry I mean visitor’s (I must stop saying victims), will have the opportunity to walk down Murder Lane and experience the sailors, perhaps last, journey.  For those who value their life a short, less arduous, quick exit route is available.

Once all the victims, I mean visitors, visitors, visitors, have exited Murder Lane at approximately 9.30PM the sky will be alight with Fireworks from the North Pier.

This free but ticket only event (tickets are limited to 6 per person), with something for kids of all ages, is supported by Ards & North Down Council.

Tickets are available from Dunn’s Footwear, High Street.

Please note that a maximum of 200 tickets are available for this event and will be issued on a first come, first served basis.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.
