Donaghadee is set to burst into life this Saturday, 15th March, with a vibrant mix of markets, family-friendly entertainment, and live performances – all free to attend and guaranteed to offer something for everyone!
Shop & Explore: Two Vibrant Markets
Shoppers and craft enthusiasts can indulge in a fantastic selection of stalls at two bustling markets which will run from 11am to 3pm. The Blackbird Craft Market, held in Wesley Hall beside the Methodist Church, will showcase unique handmade crafts, gifts, and artwork from talented local makers. Meanwhile, the Market Fresh market, located in the tennis court behind the Market House on New Street, will be brimming with plants, clothing, hot food, fresh local produce and artisan goods.
Fun for Families & Kids
The First Presbyterian Church halls will transform into a hub of excitement, offering plenty of activities for children and families:
- Circus Workshops (pre-booking required – call Liz on 07772080991)
- Ages 5-7: 11:45am – 12:45pm
- Ages 8-11: 1pm – 2pm
- Magic Shows: 11am & 2:15pm
- Face Painting: 11am – 12pm & 1pm – 2pm
- Stilt Walking: 10:30am – 12:30pm
- Juggling Acts: 12:20pm – 2:30pm
Culture & Creativity at the Community Centre
For those who love arts and culture, the Community Centre will host an exciting programme of activities:
- Irish Dancing Display: 1pm – 1:30pm
- Poetry Workshop: 1pm – 2pm
- Drawing Workshop: 2pm – 3pm
- Live Swing Band Performance: 2pm – 3pm
