Saturday 6th December

Donaghadee Market

From 12 noon to 5pm, the Methodist Church Car Park on Church Lane will come alive with over 25 stalls offering delicious foods, handcrafted gifts and festive treats. Enjoy performances from the Community Choir and Rock Choir as you browse and soak up the Christmas atmosphere.

Santa arrives

From 2pm, the harbour will be the setting for an exciting afternoon of festive fun, starting with entertainment on the pier. At around 3pm, keep your eyes on the water as Santa arrives by lifeboat, courtesy of the RNLI. After being welcomed by the Mayor of Ards and North Down, Councillor Gillian McCollum, Santa will be escorted by the Rotary Club of Donaghadee, the Harbour Star Band. the Una Breslin School of Irish Dancing, pupils from Donaghadee Primary School and others to his grotto at the Market.

This programme is subject to change. Please keep checking our website and facebook page. Events like these are heavily dependent on volunteers and this is particularly true of the Santa arrival on 6th December.
