Full details of our upcoming St Patrick’s celebrations in Donaghadee.
A unique opportunity to be entertained by a wide range of talented musicians, participate in live performances and art and craft workshops over the St Patrick’s week long celebrations.
In particular, our two free admission concerts on 18 March and 20 March to be held in Donaghadee Parish Church hall at 7.00 pm are not to be missed events.
Wednesday 18 March concert features the acclaimed Ards CCE’ Irish and folk music ensemble ( https://ardscce.co.uk ) and our own Una Breslin School of Dancing.
Friday 20 March We are privileged to host for the first time and unique in North Down the Donaghadee Festival of Harps including Ruth Corry and her Sky Harp Ensemble consisting of a selection of her talented pupils ( htttps://www.ruthcorryharpist.com ) The music from the combined talented harpists who were tutored through a music programme in Kilcooley Women’s Centre in Bangor ( Harp Angels, Heavenly Harps, Harping on) and a solo performance by Cara Keag, award winning young harpist.
